Snow Day – January 19

Parents & Guardians:
The purpose of this message is to inform you that I am canceling school again tomorrow, January 19th, due in part to remaining slick spots on our back roads and because of the frigid temperatures that we’ll have in the morning that will cause a lot of refreezing and the potential for black ice. Making my decision easier, our network broke today and is completely out at the elementary school, the cafetorium, the bus garage, and the activity center, which means curriculum and other important items cannot be accessed at those locations. Additionally, the phones, intercoms, cameras, and entrance doors will not work at those locations. Taking everything into consideration, I feel this is a recipe for something bad to happen and it’s not worth the risk. We can have a temporary solution up and running by Monday. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

2024-25 School Calendar Survey

Parents, Guardians, & School Employees:

As we begin working on our 2024-25 school year calendar, we have been approached by individuals to consider making possible changes to our traditional school calendar. The AR Department of Education has approved four (4) different calendar types for schools to consider. The district has created a community survey that addresses the four calendar types. Your input will provide valuable feedback that will be considered as we move forward. This survey instrument will close at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 26th.
