High School Counselor

This is my 14th year in education, and I have taught or counseled a range of students – from Pre-Kindergarten all the way to upperclassmen at the University of Arkansas. I am very excited to be at West Fork High School!

I earned Ph.D from the University of Arkansas in 2017, and my area of passion/research is helping students to navigate barriers to success in rural and high-poverty settings.

Middle School Counselor

Hi!  I’m the  West Fork Middle School Counselor.  I have been working in education for 22 years both as a classroom teacher and a Counselor at the Middle School, Junior High and High School level.  I am married and have 6 children, 4 of which are adopted.  

I am a  graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History Education.  I also have a Master of Education Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Dena McKnight
Elementary School Counselor

Hello!  My name is Dena McKnight and I am the West Fork Elementary School counselor.  I’ve lived in West Fork for over 20 years and have loved being involved in this community.  I am married and have three children who have attended West Fork Schools.

I am a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, with a minor in Early Childhood Education.  I attended graduate school at the University of Arkansas, where I earned my Master of Science Degree in Counseling.
