Over the last few years, we have determined the West Fork essential standards and have gone through curriculum adoptions that affect every student on our campus. Our curriculum committees understand that selecting guaranteed viable curriculum for our students is a critical step in their educational success and for that reason, each curriculum resource we choose is vetted by a team of teaching professionals for quality assurance and adherence to the Arkansas State Standards. For more information on our curriculum, including how it is created and chosen, please contact me at award@wftigers.org.

Andrea Ward
Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Andrea Ward has been serving the West Fork School District as the Director of Curriculum and Testing since 2020.

Mrs. Ward earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Level Education, a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instructional Programming, an additional certification for Building Level Leadership, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Superintendency.

Her teaching career began in Bald Knob, Arkansas where she served as a middle school math teacher for three years. She then served the Searcy Public Schools, her high school alma mater, as a math specialist before taking some time off to stay home with her children.

After moving to Northwest Arkansas, Mrs. Ward served the Farmington School District as a teacher and instructional facilitator for three years before coming to West Fork.

She married her high school sweetheart, Joel, who has been serving the United States Armed Forces for almost twenty years in various roles including sniper instructor and recruiter. They live on a farm in the West Fork School District that they share with their three little girls and family members on both sides. When she is not at work, you will likely find her fishing, riding four wheelers, and sharing meals with their large family.
